 Monsters are said to live in dark, dangerous, and mysterious places. These places are supposedly unexplored. Therefore, the fact that these places have been undiscovered tempts people to go and investigate them.  This is part of the desire that comes along with monsters. They make themselves and their surroundings mysterious, so that it lures the curious explorers in.

 Many monsters are created to be sexually attractive. Monsters are often portrayed this way so that they can lure in innocent humans as their prey. Many of the monsters are females. They will be beautiful, and usually with an amazing voice, that lures in men.  However, there are also some male monsters that can lure in women. One of the most famous of these monsters, is Dracula.

 There is a certain thrill that people get when they do something dangerous, or something that they know they shouldn’t be doing. This thrill can also come along when a person is facing a dangerous monster.  People may find certain honor and courage in fighting a monster. Therefore they may go out and hunt the monster on purpose, just so that they can feel the rush and power of fighting a dangerous creature.

 The power and strength of the monster is highly desirable to the humans. All humans are after only one thing in this world. And that thing is to be powerful.  Humans want strength so that they can gain the power that they desire so much. And many monsters tend to be very strong. So humans often envy the monster’s impeccable strength.

 Strength is not the only thing that humans desire. Powers are a another thing that humans wish they could posses.  Humans observe that monsters have powers that make them exceptional. Humans wish that they could fly, breathe underwater, become invisible, be invincible, read minds, throw flames, control technology, hypnotize humans, and more.

 The ways of many monsters are mysterious. They live in strange places, and usually do not socialize with humans. Therefore humans want to find out why the monsters are hiding away and are not socializing with the humans.  The desire to understand can sometimes drive humans to desperate levels. They will go and hunt the monster, and try to become like the monster.
