But coffee is far from being the only menu option.  If you’re meeting up with someone whose food preferences are unknown, Starbucks is a pretty safe bet for any palate.  When you walk into a Starbucks, you know what you’re getting yourself into, and as the numbers continue to prove, certainty is quite attractive.  You better believe that there’s more allure than just good coffee for the company to meet such widespread success at these not-so-competitive prices.  It’s popular for teenagers to spend time with friends because it’s a popular cafe worldwide. 2

3 The Target Market  Starbucks' primary target market is men and women aged 25 to 40. They account for almost half (49 percent) of its total business. Young Adults  Young adults aged 18 to 24, total 40 percent of Starbucks' sales. Starbucks positions itself as a place college students can hang out, study, write term papers and meet people. Kids & Teens  Kids and teens are also a large part of Starbucks’ target audience. Services:  I wasn't happy with one of my drinks and I returned and without arguing back they made sure I got a new and improved one.  Well organized and systematic company with excellent set of procedure that is easy to follow and makes working at Starbucks outlet each day pleasant. 5

7 5 reasons why Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is Popular  Now, over 40 years later, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has grown into one of the largest privately- owned, family-run coffee and tea companies in the world.  Today we proudly offer over 22 varieties of coffee and 20 kinds of tea.  Our coffee is roasted fresh daily in small batches in a manual European roast style, then packed using state-of-the-art equipment for shipment in our own roasting facility and delivered fresh daily to our stores.  In addition, CBTL is a comfortable place to relax and chill over a drink or cakes.  In the past, CBTL only serve beverages and cakes. But now they serve pasta and salads. 7

8 The Target Market  The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s (CBTL) primary target market is men and women aged 18 to 40 as they tend to be frequent coffee & tea drinkers. The main appeal to this consumer age group is through quality roasted coffee and excellent service.  There are 51 outlets spread all over the island, with a primary presence in town and CBD area. 19 of them provide free wi-fi service.  Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf does not have a specific target market as it varies across outlets depending on geographic regions.  Thus, different stores have their own specific Living Standards Measures (LSMs) targeting at the specific group. 8

Marvelous ambience  There is something alluring about sitting by the canal, especially calming and tranquil when the fountain doesnt roar. Tea Leaf Beanstro outlets, beginning with the flagship branch at Marina Bay Sands overlooking the magnificent fountain and canal. 2. About the Food  As for cakes, we chose the Green Tea Cheesecake and Red Velvet Cake. The former was rich like a cream dream, layered. 3. Consistently Convenient  Coffee Bean has the perfect study environment, and it has a much better atmosphere than Starbucks. It also offers better drinks than Starbucks, all those classic drinks and more variety of ice blended drinks. One cup can keep me there for hours. 9

12 5 Reasons why Passion Palace is popular?  Passion Palace was built in 15 August 2013. It is a small cafeteria near Holland Village. Since this cafeteria was open, many business and working adults come here for a short catch-up.  It’s popular for business and adults to have some hot brew coffee.  This place is convenient for adults who work near this café because if they don’t want have their meal they can have a cheesecake and a coffee to full their stomach.  The prices here in this cafeteria is affordable as it is not very popular but the products are well known.  We proudly offer 22 different kinds of coffees and different kinds of cakes, muffins and sandwiches. 12

13 TARGET MARKET  In passion place the primary target market is men and women aged 18 to 40 as they intend to be regular coffee drinkers. The main idea to this consumer age group is through quality roasted coffee and excellent service.  There are total of 3 outlets here. The three outlets are Holland Village,Juntion 9 and Simei Avenue 6. In this three outlets there are free Wi-Fi available.  Thus, different outlets have different Living Standards Measures (LSMs). In Passion Palace we do not have specific target market as it spread across three outlets in Singapore. 13

The view from Passion Palace has a environmental look with plants and has 2) Consistently Convenient  For school students or working adults they can come chit-chat or study together in this cooling place. 3) About the Food  In here, Mocha is mad from 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified espresso, steamed with whole or non-fat milk, chocolate syrup, topped with whipped cream.  And also there double chocolate muffin Topped with chocolate chips, these muffins will surely please chocolate lovers everywhere! Soft, moist double chocolate muffins are even better served as a dessert with strawberries and blueberries. 14

It is a chilling drink to enjoy.  Services Passion Place is a chilling and a wonderful place to chit-chat and discuss about work stuff. The whole place was very well decorated and very attractive. When customers found a table and proceeded to the ordering counter, they were warmly greeted by the waitress at the counter. 15

16 Why Passion Place is better choices for customers ?  It is because the passion place workers are willing to serve the customers with their wonderful hearts example making coffees and cakes.  Our membership card become a privilege for customers by having a discount if they buy more then $30 a product.  Have monthly promotions  Each month we have new drinks brought up.  Service is tremendous  The quality work of the workers are excellent 16
