Will extend to 6 th & 8 th grades in SY 16- 17. HOW? Selection by the STEM teachers & administrators based on: 1. Application & writing tasks 2. Teacher recommendations 3. Attendance & behavior records & academic achievement 4. Performance on a collaborative task

STEM Cohort Commitments 1. Can’t be in Accelerated Math. Will be on track for high level math in high school. 2. Will be required to participate in one STEM connections class. 3. Will remain in the STEM cohort for the entire year. 4. Will maintain excellent attendance, behavior and grades in all content areas. 5. Participate in the Summer STEM Camp (1 Day – late July) 6. Active parent support.
