Early Documentation to “Assign PSU ID” This document is current as of November 15, Please consider this information to be preliminary. Check back in mid-December for updated details.
Assigning a PSU ID Who can assign a new id? What will I need? How do I begin? What does Central IDentification Repository (CIDR) return? Where do I find help?
What will I need? Access Account UserID (e.g., XYZ3) and password. SecurID token. New hire SSN (strongly recommended). New hire name (first, middle, last). New hire date of birth (optional and only month and day). New hire home address (city, state, zip). New hire home country.
How do I begin For appointments not processed using EJMS log on to (Web site to be announced). For staff appointments in EJMS follow prompts after you click the “hire” button. Enter your Access Account UserID, password, and SecurID number.
To assign a PSU ID to a new hire, use a web browser to access the Central ID applications, the address of which will be advertised later. Use your Access Account UserID and password, plus a SecurID token to log on.
Enter required and optional information provided by a new hire. Note: optional elements are marked.
1.Choose Assign PSU ID from the left frame and complete the information on screen. 2. In the “select an affiliate” box, choose “PENDING EMPLOYEE.” Choose Validate Data for Processing.. Select appropriate affiliate code
What does CIDR return?
If CIDR does not find a matching record, a new PSU ID will be assigned and displayed. If CIDR finds a matching record, other screens will allow you to add the affiliate record. Details on this process will be provided at a later date. This screen can be printed to provide the PSU ID to the individual.
