United Kingdom and geography Great Britain is an island nation in Western Europe, the British Isles, and several smaller islands. The United Kingdom is divided into England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. The landscape is mostly lowland, high mountains are mainly in Scotland. As for the population, 81.5% the English, 9.6% Scottish, 2.4% Irish, 1.9% Welsh, 1.8% Ulster and the rest are Gauls and coloreds immigrants.
England England is the largest and most populous country of the United Kingdom. England borders with Scotland to the north and Wales to the west.The capital city of England is London. London is one of the most important cities of the world.
