Paper One 1hr 45mins 3 consecutive topics – YOU MUST DO: Hitler’s Foreign Policy, Origins of the Cold War. YOU CAN CHOOSE TO DO: Either League of Nations or Crises of the Cold War 3 sections, 35 mins per section 4 mark describe – 2/3 detailed sentences (3-5 mins) 6 mark do you agree? – Analyse argument in the source, evaluate reliability and purpose, do you agree using your own knowledge (10- 13 mins) 10 mark bullet point – Describe, explain, assess (repeat, linking events) – conclude! (18-22 mins)

Analyse content (explaining why useful/limited with knowledge), evaluate nature, origin, purpose (explaining why useful/limited). Conclude (19-22 mins)
