2 Alusin Solar | Solar structures  Alusin Solar | Solar Structures is a company located in Asturias (in the industrial heart-land of Spain).  Since 2010, Alusin Solar has developed more than 60MW in more than 12 countries (Europe, Africa and America mainly).  Born in late 2013, Alusin Solar Chile has continuous stock of aluminum mounting systems in order to attend customers in South America.  We design and manufacture our own solar mounting systems, certifing them according to local loads requirements. 3

3 Flat Solar Roofs  The current PPT has the aim of showing the benefits of our mounting system for flat roofs: the BULNES System.  Its name belongs, as all systems of Alusin Solar, to a natural paradise of Asturias: the Naranjo de Bulnes peak. the Naranjo de Bulnes peak.  At the right, the Bulnes peak. a limestone peak dating from the paleozoic era, located in the Macizo Central region of the Picos de Europa, Asturias (Spain).  Below the peak, a perfect example of a flat solar roof thanks to the BULNES System. 4

4 BULNES System  This system of structures is selected when there is the need to add more tilt to the pitched roof.  Its supports can be fixed to any kind of roof: metal trapezoidal sheet, ceramic, wood beams, concrete purlins,…  In order to allow the resistance against loads, we have calculated and tested our tilted systems in order to avoid any damage because of wind or snow loads. We also adapt our structures systems to local loads. * If you need to leave a higher resistance, just ask our Technical Team 5

5 BULNES System  Most common System (example)  15 to 50 degree tilt of the triangles.  4 to 6 ft. long bottom profile (rail).  Sealing secured thanks to a double-junction system.  Fixation direct from bottom profile to the purlins (wood, steel, concrete,…).  Panels can be placed in landscape or portrait.  Maximum distance between triangles: 1,5m with aluminum profile V3 (4.921 ft) 2,0m with aluminum profile V2 (6.561 ft) 6

6 PICOS System  Tilted structures over concrete blocks  This system allows a 5 to 15degree tilt  Its installation on concrete blocks is based on the fixation thanks to self-tapped stainless steel screws.  On fragile roofs: continuous lines of long blocks (picture at the right-down).  Weight: 21kg/sqm (4.27lb/sqf), thought for Si-C panels with 60 cells. 7

7 Fixations to Roof/Purlins  Self-drilling BiMetallic Screws + EPDM Junctions.  Carbon-Steel Tip, and rest of the screw made of stainless steel. Thanks to the galvanic par, it avoids the corrosion.  Sealing secured thanks to a double-junction system.  Optionally, as an enforcement, chemical sealing thanks to Epoxy-based polymers. 8

8 Clamps | for profiles and panels 9  All types of clamps are designed by Alusin Solar  Manufactured in Spain  High resistance against high loads (wide wings)  Pi shape avoids vandalism (Si-C)  Clamps for Si-C and Thin Film

9 3D Designs  We use a powerful 3D software tool, managed by high-experienced professionals.  We develop the Layout and BOM following project specifications.  Before start the works on-site we can know the final results: details of all type of junctions, fixations to roof, sealing solutions… We reduce to minimum any issue on works. 10
