3Creating New Slides Click the ‘Home’ tab Click ‘New Slide’ and pick ‘Blank’With the new slide highlighted,press the ‘Ctrl’ key and the ‘c’ keyat the same time.Press the ‘Ctrl’ key and the ‘v’ keyThis is how you COPY and PASTE slides. In this case, a blank slide that you createdin steps one and two.To copy and paste components within a slide, click on the component to be copied(possible a graphic image) then press the ‘Ctrl’ and ‘c’ keys (copy it to the clipboardin your computer) and then with the slide you want to paste the item into in thelarge center portion of the screen, press the ‘Ctrl’ and ‘v’ keys to paste it from theclipboard to that slide.

5Exercise OneOpen the PowerPoint Application and save it on your desktop with the title“Exercise One” and YOUR name as the subtitle.Create four additional blank slides and activate (click on) the second slideClick the ‘Insert’ tab and then click ‘Word Art’. Now choose any style andtype “Personal Info” into the Word Art box. Center it near the top by draggingit and dropping it where you want it. Save your work!With the Insert tab still active, click on ‘Text Box’ and type at least three piecesof your contact data such as home address, , cell phone, Facebook page, etc.
