1.Click the ‘Home’ tab 2.Click ‘New Slide’ and pick ‘Blank’ 3.With the new slide highlighted, press the ‘Ctrl’ key and the ‘c’ key at the same time. 4.Press the ‘Ctrl’ key and the ‘v’ key at the same time. This is how you COPY and PASTE slides. In this case, a blank slide that you created in steps one and two. To copy and paste components within a slide, click on the component to be copied (possible a graphic image) then press the ‘Ctrl’ and ‘c’ keys (copy it to the clipboard in your computer) and then with the slide you want to paste the item into in the large center portion of the screen, press the ‘Ctrl’ and ‘v’ keys to paste it from the clipboard to that slide.
top The last button on the top bar may be the most important button! When your computer is on line this screen will pop up. The ‘Search’ function is important as are the blue hyperlinks by topic. When your computer is off line this screen will pop up.
1.Open the PowerPoint Application and save it on your desktop with the title “Exercise One” and YOUR name as the subtitle. 2.Create four additional blank slides and activate (click on) the second slide 3.Click the ‘Insert’ tab and then click ‘Word Art’. Now choose any style and type “Personal Info” into the Word Art box. Center it near the top by dragging it and dropping it where you want it. Save your work! 4.With the Insert tab still active, click on ‘Text Box’ and type at least three pieces of your contact data such as home address, e-mail, cell phone, Facebook page, etc.
