1 I have always had a natural ability and a love of teaching. I want to impart and gain knowledge from children. Some great teachers taught me and because children’s minds are so interesting and I love to hear their opinions and conversations To help children to grow I love working with young children and I see the enormous importance of education in shaping people’s lives. I love learning and hope to instil this love in others Good education gives our children the best possible chance in life I want to be a teacher because to share in the search for meaning makes me happy:) I can be a positive influence on the lives of young people and can help them become independent and responsible citizens I want to make a difference in young people’s lives, to broaden their minds, to give the space to question and reflect on their own opinions and values and so grow and develop as people, to take their rightful place as active citizens with the power to change the world I love working with children and I could not see myself in any other job. I’ve been inspired by my mam who is a teacher too and I see how much she loves her job Because of my love of working and interacting with children. I have wanted to be a teacher since I started school myself. I can recall my childhood memories of teaching my teddy bears and even giving them homework and tests. I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else in my life now that I have gotten this far. I am in third year. And my career is a hands reach away. It’s a dream come true for me. I am will be forever privileged to be teacher. I want to be a teacher because I want to inspire young people in whatever way I can :) I enjoy working with children. I love to learn new things from them and teach them new things. Having grown up teaching my sisters when I was younger, and giving swimming lessons and dance classes when I was at school, I have always enjoyed it. I want to prepare children for the future… so that they can become teachers, doctors, politicians, leaders of the country..!!! I want to inspire children and help them to be creative. I want to provide them with the best education possible I had such a strange experience at school (bullied and a lot of different schools because of my father’s job). I would like to give something back. My teachers were great to me when I was going through a hard time I want to inspire young children. I want to be there as a joy – someone children can look forward to coming to, and someone who makes them love school. I want to get them on track for a good life, and to be someone they will always remember. That’s why I want to become a teacher! Every child, regardless of gender, race or creed, should be given the chance to fulfil their full potential I feel I can offer my professional experience and skills from the private sector in helping students prepare for the working world and meet the demands of today’s corporate climate, changing the way students learn in the classroom, to a more mutually beneficial process for the teacher and the student. To be able to influence the society of tomorrow. And the holidays. I enjoy working with young people. I enjoy teaching my subject area and making it relevant to students’ lives. There is no better feeling that seeing a child achieve something and knowing that you were part of this. Teachers impacted on my in a positive way – but some had a negative effect. I hope to be a caring approachable teacher who helps students in many aspects of their lives. I believe every child has a right to reach his/her potential. I love children and working with them. I feel that I will be rewarded every single day in this job and therefor I will be happy. The impact you can have on the life of a child is overwhelming but it adds to the reward. I remember being in awe of teachers in school and how I looked up to them, and now I want to be that person in the classroom I love helping people and its such a great feeling knowing that you taught someone something they didn’t know before. Teaching practice is a brilliant time, trying to be the best role model for the children and showing them new things. It’s nice to feel appreciated and respected by the kids where they look up to you and value your opinion and ask for your help. Education is essential to our society’s future and being able to contribute to the development of young children’s lives is an honour and a challenge which I hope to make positive. Teaching is something I thought about and saved up for prior to applying for the post-grad dip. Having been the sole child minder for three young children during my undergrad nursing studies, I felt with the skills I had learnt and developed from nursing, being a fluent Irish speaker and having the commitment and passion to teach made me decide for definite that teaching is for me and I can make the school a learning and enjoyable environment. I have dreamed of being a teacher since I was a child. I suppose the teachers I had growing up inspired me and I view it as a respectful, worthwhile profession where you can see the benefits of your work when you realise the children have enjoyed and learned what you taught them. I want to enjoy my job :) It’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I want to make a difference in each child’s life by teaching them something they will always remember. Children are the future and I want to prepare them for that. Also, because every day is different, and there is never a day that you won’t be surprised, or a child will make you smile. I like to help people to learn and to grasp information they may be struggling to understand, in fun and interesting ways. I want to be part of helping children to learn how to learn. I want to teach in an engaging and interactive way and to give them a say in their own learning. If I show my own passion in my teaching children will feed off this passion and begin to associate learning with excitement and empowerment rather than monotony and boredom. Children are the future I want to help children to realise their full potential I had positive experiences of school, and I want to help young people to prepare for life! I can help children to achieve their full potential. For me, being a teacher is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world. It gives you the possibility to enhance a child’s life in a positive way. I would like to play a role in helping children achieve their potential I want to be part of shaping our future I believe in equal educational opportunities for all and hope to be part of a system that endeavours to achieve this I want to teach because
