5. Bursa is a city in northwestern Turkey and the seat of Bursa Province. The metropolitan area in the entire Bursa province had a population of 2.6 million as of 2010 making the city the fourth most populous in Turkey. The city is equally one of the most industrialized metropolitan centers in the country. MAIN MENU

6. GÜRSU is a small municipality in Bursa. Population is mostly consisted of the people migrated from the other cities and mostly Turks. Since having fertile grounds, agriculture is very common in Gürsu. Besides, industry is also developed. Therefore especially people from the east region of Turkey migrate from east to Bursa, Gürsu. 11. There are many primary, secondary and high schools in Gürsu. There are 6 health vocational high schools in Bursa and our school is one of them. MAIN MENU

12. Our high school educates students to be help staff in sector of health. MAIN MENU

13. The branches are “Dental Prosthesis, Nursing, Laboratory, Emergent Medical Care and Anaesthesia“. MAIN MENU

14. When our students graduate from high school they have opportunity to be appointed by government and they can work as : “nurse, dental prosthesis technician, anaesthesia technician, emergency technician and laboratory assistant.” They can also continue their education at universities and become more proficient in their branches. 15. There are classes of health subjects as well as cultural classes such as History, Geography etc. English is the foreign language in our school. French or German is taught as second foreign language in other high schools. MAIN MENU

16. In Turkey there’s an examination system at secondary schools that eliminates students and direct them to different types of high schools, so our students are selected ones and they have capability of academic and vocational education. Students from Bursa as well as from other cities come our school to have a vocational education on health. MAIN MENU

19. We have an English club which is consisted of the students who like English. And they are voluntary to take part in the activities. We’re planning to publish a school magazine. MAIN MENU
