Homes arranged in groups WEAPONS/TOOLS - canoes for fishing, shells as jewelry, baskets used for many reasons

3 SOCIAL LIFE Lived in communities of 2,000 people Houses were grouped together November was rabbit hunt month Were nomadic (traveled around following food-no permanent home)

4 ASSIGNMENT OF ROLES Men were the hunters of the food Women were the gathers of the food

5 ART Clam shell necklaces Woven baskets

6 RELIGION Feared spirits of the dead. Once you died everything you had was burned including the body and the name was never spoken of again.
