9 About WVWP Fees Fee Structure U18/U16 boys and girls $325.00 plus backpack and jacket U14/U12 Co-ed $225.00 plus backpack and jacket Masters $75.00 All members must have a Silver or higher USA Water Polo Membership. Members should opt into the USWP Leagues (2015 Oregon Spring League) Members must have processed a photo ID with USAWP All fees include a suit and T-shirt and pool costs

13 About WVWP Tournaments (Cont.) Chehalem (Newberg) June 26 – 28 2015 U18/U16 Boys and Girls (player fees of $TBD) Local tournament fees – reason for these fees is to make each player commit to the tournaments. There is a deadline placed on coaches to have rosters in to tournament directors and the fee enables us to do that on time. Tournament Schedules – will be posted on the web page as soon as we get them. We have no control over when we get them or how many times they may change. You must check the web page the day of the tournament for the most up to date schedule. ALL players should be at tournaments 45 minutes before first scheduled game. We suggest that you sign up for the RSS feed on the web page

14 Parent volunteer requirements Each family is required to volunteer 10 hours of work to the club. The first five hours must be fulfilled by June 1, 2015. Opportunities are; League Jamboree March 1, 2015 Albany pool Girls JO Qualifier May 1 -3, 2015 Kroc Center League Championship May 16 – 17, 2015 Albany Pool The second five hours are required at the Nike Open Water Tournament. Scott May has sign up sheet of the first two events.

Location Foster Lake WVWP Teams playing U18/U16 boys and girls all tournament WVWP Teams playing U14/12 will have some games scheduled Accommodations: Teams will be camping at Lewis Creek Park Designated players and parents Sunday – Wednesday All other players and parents Monday – Thursday

17 Nike Open Water Tournament (Cont.) Cost $200.00 per player this covers team hard cost T-Shirt, Showers, Food (Breakfasts and Dinner). $125.00 of this is a deposit and is not required if first half of volunteer hours have been met U 14 coming up for the day only. Cost $100.00 per player this covers T-Shirt and game fees. $80.00 of this is a deposit and not required if first half of volunteer hours have been met. Parents at the Open Water. All club parents are expected to work the open water at some point. This is our club’s main source of income for the year and the reason we are able to keep our dues as low as we do. Working for your high school team does not count toward your club hours. Parent camping is at Sunnyside Camp Ground. There is a link to book your camp site on the Nike Open Water page.

18 Nike Open Water Tournament (cont.) Sponsorships requirements Each WVWP family is required to send out five sponsorship packets (one each sponsor letter and sponsor recognition letter) These can be found on the web page under announcement, 2015 open water. A list of each letter sent should be emailed to coach@wvwp.org coach@wvwp.org The family that brings in the most money will win one pass (for one) to the Nike employee store, gift certificates will go to 2 nd and 3 rd place.

20 Oregon Elite Polo (OEP) Welcome back to Oregon Elite Polo (OEP) a cooperative agreement between Blue Crush, Madras Lake Oswego and Willamette Valley Water Polo Clubs. This is a unique opportunity for every member of our clubs OEP gives players of all age groups the opportunity to be part of competitive Junior Olympic teams, while remaining active members of their home club Sign up sheet is located on the web page on the OEP page. Tryout are March 8, 2015 at the Albany pool Boys am girls pm.

21 Oregon Elite Polo (OEP) cont. Tryout cost - $30.00 tryout fee (covers pool time and shirt) Those players chosen, $200 non-refundable deposit. This deposit holds the players spot on a team and insures a commitment to the team and JO’s. Those players chosen will have their USAWP membership changed to the team they will travel to JO’s with. U18 boys WVWP, U18 girls Blue Crush, U16 boys Madras, U16 girls, LOWP, U14 COPS.

22 Rules of WVWP Traveling with WVWP Your coach must know where you are at all times We hang out as a team (this is so important) Always have a buddy Overnight trips All players are the responsibility of the coaches on the trip. No boys in girls rooms or tents and no girls in boys rooms or tents. Breaking these rules will get you sent home at your expense!

23 Rules of WVWP (cont.) Have Fun Come to practice ready to Listen Try new things Work hard Work as a team Ask questions Most important is to come to practice, those who attend get the most playing time in tournaments. All players will play if they participate in practices.

24 About our Corporate Sponsor Our Club is Sponsored by Nike Swim As part of the sponsorship WVWP provides a suit and T-shirt to the players Players are required by Nike to have a Jacket and Backpack Players are required to bring/wear these team items at all events Suit T-Shirt Jacket Backpack Not having these will prevent you from playing in the event. An event is any tournament or scheduled game.
