5 Benefits of automated waste and recycling collection  Separate wheelie bins for waste and recycling will be provided to each resident and business at no cost.  Bins are made from durable, light weight plastic and have wheels that make it easier to move garbage to the curb (especially for seniors).  Bins have a secure hinged lid that controls odour and nuisance animal problems.

6 Benefits of automated waste and recycling collection cont’d Collection frequency options are available(ie. Weekly, bi-weekly or seasonally adjusted). Collection is upgraded by providing service to both sides of street in urban areas. Eventually may be the only option available, due to industry wide automation of solid waste collection equipment.
