DVS aims to reduce expenses, optimize processes, minimize piracy, and speed time to market for new media products and value-added services. 12 Video Merchant Services This innovative service offering encompasses all functionality essential to an integrated digital media distribution and retailing platform spanning both physical and electronic formats This includes digital content ingestion and repository, asset management catalog and rights availability, content translation/transcoding, business and customer systems integration, web-based merchandising solutions, and physical and electronic fulfillment. With these services, video merchants can expand their consumer offerings to a much larger "digital catalog" without the risk of investment in physical merchandising systems and inventory.
