8 Painting #2 – Your Choice. Choose an object to paint. It can be an animal or something else with significant detail. You will paint the object using layers from light to dark. Your painting should have at least 3 layers; a base layer, a light detail layer, then a dark detail layer. You can use more if you like. Your background should be a neutral color wet and wet background, similar to the Hawk.

9 Requirements for Object of Choice Complete a practice painting on drawing paper. Draw your object, paint with at least 3 layers, complete background. Use Watercolor paper (pad by screen) for your final copy.
