1 In the test center, you will find all of the tests for your building that are available. Click on a test and you will see options. Hover over an icon to see a description. Using Test Center for Test Coordinators/Admins View and Print Answer sheets Performance Matters Confidential - Internal Use by District Only After logging in, click on the tab titled “Test Center” from the Home Page. If the tab is not available, there are no tests ready for you to manage. Select a “School” and/or “Assessment Category” if they apply Click 1 2 The Test Center allows you to view or print tests for any group of students - whether for your entire school, a specific class, any filtered group or a student. You may also proctor a test for a teacher and release a test to students so they can take it online aka OLA (online assessment). Page 1 Printing Scan Sheets and Test Booklets Blank Answer Sheet Icon: Use this to download a blank answer sheet. 3 4 5 Filtered Pre-slugged Icon: Used to print forms for students selected through your iFilters. Using your filters on the left, select teachers, courses, classes or specific students. Your iFilter is important in testing the right students! Remember you can Save your iFilters if there is a selection that you will use repeatedly, select that filter from this menu. Click the test filter icon. Lastly, Test Booklet Icon: Use this to download a pdf of the test questions and answer choices. This is only available for tests written “from items”.

2 Using Test Center for Test Coordinators/Admins Release a test for OLA Access 4 Status Possibilities: 1)Not Available: students can’t login because you haven’t Released the test 2)Not Started: the test is Released, but the student hasn’t logged in 3)In Progress: the student is taking the test 4)Finished: the student has completed the test by EXITing the test and their results will be in the Pending Reports – Pending Item Analysis and Pending Student Item Analysis NOTE: If a student clicked EXIT before they completed the test, use “OLA Student Admin” in SAM to reset them to “In Progress” so they can log back in to continue. Performance Matters Confidential - Internal Use by District Only Page 2 OLA Icon: Use this to Release/Unrelease this test to students. Generally a teacher will proctor the test for their class (es). A Testing Coordinator or other Building or District User with proper access can proctor the test for any class or student. Generally this happens when a substitute teacher is in the class or other such reason. NOTE: Students can not take a test unless it is Released to them. After it is Unreleased the test is no longer available to the student. If a student is taking a test when the test is Unreleased, the student will still be able to complete the test and won’t be forced out. 1 Proctoring an OLA (online assessment) Using your iFilters, filter on a Teacher, then class. If you are proctoring to just one or two students, further your filtering to just the students that you will be testing! Click the Star Icon Press and your students can login to begin taking the test. Press when class is over and all students have exited the test! Unrelease will keep anyone from logging in when you don’t want them to… protecting the test. 3 4 2
