4 4-H 4-H GROWN The "4-H GROWN" Alumni Campaign invites 4-H alumni to check in as a proud, 4-H Grown alum in their community and to tag their 4-H friends and family to do the same. Through this campaign, alumni will: Reconnect with the 4-H that helped them succeed in life Engage with a network of millions of other 4-Hers across the U.S. Help youth in their state experience the 4-H difference through a $10,000 “Innovation Incubator” Sponsorship

5 4-H 4-H GROWN For your state, the “4-H GROWN” campaign provides great opportunities: To provide fun, engaging digital content to rally your community around your local 4-H programs The opportunity to win a $10,000 STEM sponsorship for your state Camp A wonderful avenue to collect alumni and supporter contact information

6 4-H EXPERIENCE AS YOUTH “I still have my record book. It’s something that would be sent to county and would get awards. It’s all my accomplishments. 7 4-H Promoting 4-H GROWN: Promote 4-H GROWN on your social properties once a week from 1/20/15 to 3/16/15 Run web banner on your site for the duration of the promotion Promote in your newsletter or through a dedicated at least once Tag your notable alumni asking them to check in Post pictures from your state’s past 4-H activities Send out the media pitch letter and local press release

8 4-H Engage your Active Alumni Tag alumni from your state asking them to check in and tag their friends: An Indiana alumnus, Jim Davis, created Garfield! Drew Faust, the President of Harvard, is a proud Virginia alumna. Former Vice President Al Gore is a product of Tennessee 4-H! Famous musician Brad Paisley spent his early days in a 4-H club in West Virginia. From hometown heroes to world famous personalities, every state has some notable alumni! Who are yours?!

9 4-H Post Vintage 4-H Photos Whether they are from 1978 or last summer, there is nothing like photos of fun past 4-H activities to engage your supporters, and we want to see your best!

10 4-H Rally Your Community on Facebook Post once a week between 1/20/15 – 3/16/15 using the following sample messaging: Remember your days in 4-H? HughesNet and 4-H are calling #4HGROWN alumni to check-in and remember their 4-H roots. States with the most checked in 4-H alumni could win a $10K “Innovation Incubator” Science Sponsorship! Learn More: Already checked in as a #4HGROWN Alumni? Tag your 4-H family and friends to follow suit! You could help your 4-H state win a $10,000 Science Sponsorship! Don’t forgot to share your 4-H photos using #4HGROWN and share you 4-H pride!
