3 + MAKE SURE YOU LOG IN TO GET THE FULL BENEFITS  go to http://umbc.edu/http://umbc.edu/  click on Library and then Albin O. Khun Library on the drop down menu  on the far right click on My Library Account  from the list of University System of Maryland, click on UMBC  sign in with the 14 digit number on top of the barcode of your UMBC RED ID and your last name NOTE: a new tab is created for each tab you click so at this point you should have a UMBC homepage tab, a Library homepage tab and a my account tab. You will be notified by email once it arrives at UMBC. - Note: you cannot request a book if you are not logged into your Library account  If your book is available at UMBC and it is has not been checked out, write down the call number and have a Library employee help you locate it in the Library.
