HISTORY HISTORY OF THE ALBANIAN WORK On February 20, 1992, exactly 25 years to the day after Hoxha declared war on God, Hoxha’s statue was pulled down from its pedestal, and his fingers and toes were scattered all over the streets of Tirana. Hoxha challenged God, and God won the contest.
HISTORY HISTORY OF THE ALBANIAN WORK In July 1992, soon after the fall of communism, God opened the door to Albania, and a group of twenty-six teachers, led by Bill McDonough, Ben Jones, and Dick Ady moved in.
