11 All People Have a Natural Knowledge of God Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them. Romans 2: from conscience.

13 All People Have a Natural Knowledge of God Our natural knowledge of God tells us there is a God who is… wise and powerful and also that He is holy and hates sin.

14 The Weakness of the Natural Knowledge of God It doesn’t tell us… 1. who the true God is 2. about a Savior from sin

15 All People Have a Natural Knowledge of God Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody’s chains came loose. The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!” The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” Acts 17:26-30
