1. JESUS CONQUERS THROUGH SERVANT LOVE

2. When Jesus came to earth He didn’t do exactly what religious people had always thought the Messiah would do.

3. John 13:12-17 “After Jesus had washed their feet, he put his outer garment back on and returned to his place at the table. ‘Do you understand what I have just done to you?’ he asked.

4. ‘You call me Teacher and Lord, and it is right that you do so, because that is what I am. I, your Lord and Teacher, have just washed your feet. You, then, should wash one another's feet.

5. I have set an example for you, so that you will do just what I have done for you. I am telling you the truth: no slaves are greater than their master,

6. and no messengers are greater than the one who sent them. Now that you know this truth, how happy you will be if you put it into practice!’”

7. “Why did Jesus wash His disciples’ feet?”

8. The people of the day of Jesus were out of touch with Jesus plan to conquer the world.

9. The religious people of today do too. Invitational Ministry Incarnational Ministry

10. We must ask why this is so hard for the church to do today?

11. Too many times we are focused on making our happiness not only the goal of our life, but the religion of our life.

12. TRUTH: True happiness comes in serving others.

13. Verse 17-Now that you know this truth, how happy you will be if you put it into practice!

14. TRUTH: Satan promotes selfishness and self-centeredness to defeat the church.

15. Jesus answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the

16. most important commandment. The second most important commandment is like it: "Love your neighbor as you love yourself.' (Matt. 22:37-39)

17. TRUTH: The only way that we can live a life that is committed to showing the servant love of Jesus to others is to spend more time with Him and learn to love Him dearly.

18. John 14:15 “If you love me, you will obey what I command.”
