Current position Quality Assurance license is extended to March 2016 only -12 months to go; Accreditation continues but capped at 2016; The current learnership regulation has not changed; Provision continues as normal;
STATUS OF TRAINING PROVISION Existing qualifications The Qualifications which are not performing would not be renewed Current accreditation status The accreditation of Skills Development providers- initiated. Status of assessors and moderators The new registration process of practitioners is expected to be initiated by AQP.
Monitoring of provision The re-accreditation capped at March 2016; Providers need to improve quality management systems; system reminder of accreditation to be adhered to; System challenge in reprinting reaccreditation certificates and delays; QCTO visits to providers.
