Canine neurological disorder caused by exposure to certain contaminants from small animals ◦ Feces, saliva, urine & blood Acute neurologic disorder affecting certain canine nerves for controlling: ◦ Fore and hind limbs ◦ Neck muscles ◦ Breathing and barking muscles

Overreaction of the immune system Paralysis beginning in the back legs and moving forward Eventually leading to heart attacks and pulmonary failure Some canines will continue to eat and drink for a while, some will not.
