14 What makes the BD400 so effective? Pressurised reactor allows the reaction to be carried out at 85°C w/o methanol boiling off. (Well above “normal” methanol boiling point.) This drives the reaction forwards. Inner stainless steel core, outer stainless steel jacket. Insulated. Good proven mixing. Gives exceptional mixing of reactants not just circulation.
