4 Requirements for Eligibility Must pass 5 out of 7 classes and having a passing average overall (including Math and English) Must have a good discipline record. Must turn in all required paperwork to the head coaches before starting conditioning and practice UNLESS you have already participated in a sport at MHS.

6 Conditioning Schedule  Conditioning has been going on since October and will last until Thursday, January 28.  Conditioning workouts are held every Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday at Mauldin Middle School from 4:15-5:15.  Distance conditioning meets with Coach Howell.  No transportation is provided for conditioning workouts. Please tell your parents to pick you up ON TIME!

7 Practice Schedule  Official Practices will begin on Monday, February 1 with the MANDATORY Rules Meeting in the Auditorium at 4pm.  Practices are held Monday-Friday from 4:15 - 5:30.  Transportation will be provided to all practices. 3 unexcused absences from practice are grounds for dismissal. If you miss practice the day before a meet, you will not compete the next day.

18 Event Selection Coaches will use conditioning workouts and the first two weeks of practices to evaluate athletes for certain events. We will put you in the event that best matches your ability level and will allow to have the most success. However you will be given the opportunity to have input into an event you feel best suits your talents. Those who are chosen to do multiple events should take it as a compliment.
