G’day! In our project we will present the geography of Australia, some historical information, natural features, wildlife and a Fact File. We hope you enjoy our project!
Around 40,000 years ago the Aborigines lived in Australia. Aborigines still live in Australia today. The Aborigines have their own flag. When white people came to Australia they forced the Aborigines to be their slaves. During the eighteenth century people in Ireland and England were deported over to Australia for committing crimes. In 1851 gold was discovered.
White means: Peace and Honesty Blue means: vigilance, truth, loyalty perseverance and justice Red means: hardness, strength and valour 6 stars on the flag One 7 point star which represents the federation of the colonies in 1901 in Australia Aboriginal Flag: Black represents aboriginal people Yellow represents the sun Red represents the red earth
