4 For the past decade we have searched across the world, and have found very little in the way of high caliber 'Industry Based' modern music programs, that are available to all members of the community. We have discovered various schools and music institutions that excel in the delivery of music industry training in various forms, but we have failed to find a music industry training service which is as comprehensive and inclusive as the service that we have designed for you. Aussie ROCKSCHOOL is available to children of all ages, ranging from 5 years onwards. Students with a strong interest in the modern music industry are encouraged to become participants. We are able to cater for beginner to professional skill levels. Aussie ROCKSCHOOL is a service that can be used as a ‘stand-alone’ service, or it can also serve as an exciting form of supplementary music education for school students already obtaining music education either in private tuition or in a school based capacity. Aussie ROCKSCHOOL is very flexible, and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all students. We are not restricted to how we are able to ‘case-manage’ students. This means that over time, we are able to work with all of our students, to assist them to become the best musicians that they can become. Upon completion of senior secondary school, we are able to continue to assist Aussie ROCKSCHOOL participants in the way of career opportunities such as performance, music business and teaching. We believe we are not training our students for the real world, which begins ‘down the track’… At Aussie ROCKSCHOOL the real world begins when a student walks through the door for the first time! We see our involvement with our students, as one that will last for ever. Introducing - Aussie ROCKSCHOOL *Accredited and non-accredited music industry training

10 Q. I’m a beginner...can I join Aussie ROCKSCHOOL? A. Yes you can, but speak with us about a suitable location for you. At this stage, not all locations cater for beginner students. Q. I’m already in a band...and I’m good at music already...why should I join Aussie ROCKSCHOOL? A. Aussie ROCKSCHOOL is your 'instant link' to the professional music industry. All of our students benefit from the Aussie ROCKSCHOOL program...and yes, it pays to think 'a bit down the track'...we are able to assist students to create a career out of music! Would you like to be a music instructor (down the track) instead of doing a job that you don't enjoy??? At Aussie ROCKSCHOOL we can offer great career pathways...we currently have a shortage of music teachers! A fulltime career in music....what more could you want :) Q. ROCKSCHOOL sessions usually go for 3-4 hours...isn't that a bit long...I recon I'd get bored...why do they go for so long? A. Come and give it a try...if you get bored, then yes...Aussie ROCKSCHOOL is not for you! The Aussie ROCKSCHOOL program is designed for students that are extremely keen to be in a band, and to do gigs. There's a lot of concentration required...but it will definitely pay off!!! Ask some of our students that have been with our program right from the start! If Aussie ROCKSCHOOL isn't for you...or if you feel you aren't ready for the commitment, ask us about our range of programs. I’m sure we will be able to assist you in some way! :) Q. I’ve noticed you have a music teacher training course...can I enroll in it? A. If you are in yr10, 11 or 12...you are able to enroll in the online teacher training course. We can also create practical teaching experiences for you, so you can learn hands on (it's the best way to do it!). You may also be able to apply to be a regional V.E.T participant. You will gain S.A.C.E points for your participation. Q. I want to do gigs...how do I get to do my first gig? A. Every ROCKSCHOOL student is able to perform every term. Most ROCKSCHOOL students have access to performance opportunities every 6 weeks - Students that are very accomplished at there instruments usually perform approximately once or twice / month...sometimes weekly! Aussie ROCKSCHOOL is performance based...we continue to create more and more performance opportunities for all students. If you know of anyone that wants a band to play...let us know!!! :) *The more gigs students play...the better they will get! Aussie ROCKSCHOOL – F.A.Q’s
