3 HOME BACK NEXT EXIT Go to your Internet Browser In your browser, type your institution’s MOODLE website, example: hrvc.heart-nta.org Press the ENTER key or Go or to go to the moodle site

5 HOME BACK NEXT EXIT Entering Your Course/ Programme Select your Campus and / or your Programme /Course from this page. Note: you can access the HEART MOODLE ORIENTATION GUIDE under the Orientation Activities Block. This will give you assistance if needed in the future on how to manage your course site! Use the Calendar to keep track of upcoming assignments and events

Click on links to view: Assignments and their Mark Schemes Click on links to view: Discussion questions, Post to the discussions and reply Click on Activity Checklist to help you to keep track of activities to be done and topics to be covered

10 HOME BACK NEXT EXIT Editing Your Profile 1.Click these buttons to: 1.Change your password. 1.Remember it must be 8 character in length, have at least 1 Capital Letter, 1 number and 1 non- alphanumeric character (example &, %, $, @, #, _ etc) 2.Check your messages Institution Click this TAB to do further editing of your Moodle Profile

15 HOME BACK NEXT EXIT Posting a New Discussion to the Forum Add a New Discussion Second - Click this BUTTON, to Add a New Discussion for your group or individually, IF instructed… First - Read instructions. Do research and then type in Word Joanne Hanson

16 HOME BACK NEXT EXIT To Add Content to the Discussion Board Third - Add the name of the discussion based on the Research that you were asked to do. Add your name or group’s name at end. Fourth – Type in Microsoft Word and then use the Ctrl and V keys together to click in this area and paste Fifth - Click this button to ensure that your information goes to the discussion Do not use Browse button unless you are required to attach something in addition to your discussion
