3 Let’s start with some helpful hints…

4  Go to SETTINGS > GENERAL  Under “Use side switch to,” select LOCK ROTATION Locking Rotation

5  If you have this set to MUTE,  Rotate iPad so the display is in the desired orientation.  Swipe up along the bottom of the screen to display Control Center (you can do this from any screen, including the Lock screen).  Tap the Screen Rotation Lock button.  The Screen Rotation Lock button will appear highlighted.

6  Simple passcodes are four digits long. You can disable simple passcode to require a longer passcode, which can also contain alphanumeric characters.  You can configure your device to automatically erase all contents (Secure Erase) after ten failed passcode attempts.  iCloud users can remotely lock their device with a passcode using Find My iPhone.  If you enter an incorrect passcode too many times, the device will be disabled temporarily. the device will be disabled temporarily. Passcodes You can configure a passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using Settings > General > Passcode Lock.

7  Connect the device to the computer with which you normally sync and open iTunes.  Note: If iTunes asks you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. If the device is still disabled, or if iTunes does not automatically sync your device, sync the device with iTunes.  When the backup and sync is complete, restore your device.  When iOS Setup Assistant asks to set up your device, choose "Restore from iTunes backup".  Select your device in iTunes and choose the most recent backup of your device. What to do if the device gets locked… BACK UP YOUR DEVICES TO iTunes!!!

8  SETTINGS > GENERAL > RESTRICTIONS  You can limit Safari, camera, Facetime, apps, etc.  “Allowed Content” lets you set access to explicit content  “In App Purchases” can be turned off, or require password immediately iTunes Settings
