2 California Center Inception/Support The California Center in China was originally named during a Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony in China (2013) by Governor Jerry Brown with China’s Party Secretary Luo Zhijun (Jiangsu Province). Since then, a bi-partisan list of public officials from the federal, state, and local level have expressed support for the California Center, and its mission to help boost California’s exports in China.
