 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body. -- 1 Cor 6:20  knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. -- 1 Pet 1:18-19

I am Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Psalm 139:13-16 Psalm 139:13-16 For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place. Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.

I am Chosen Before the Foundation of the World

Eph 1:11-12 Eph 1:11-12 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.

"Knowing that God chose you and gave you His gracious gift of faith should reassure your purpose in the Christian life and your usefulness to the Body. You see, God doesn't make mistakes. You didn't wander into the kingdom of heaven, making the Lord of Glory wince in surprise. You were called to be here.“ "Knowing that God chose you and gave you His gracious gift of faith should reassure your purpose in the Christian life and your usefulness to the Body. You see, God doesn't make mistakes. You didn't wander into the kingdom of heaven, making the Lord of Glory wince in surprise. You were called to be here.“ --Mark Lautenschlager
