1 Embracing Your New Identity
STOP! Fake ID Embracing Your New Identity

2 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.

3 ----------------------------------------
4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. The world has a lot to offer and it looks impressive; but it can’t compare to the power of God in us even in the midst of huge challenges.

4 ----------------------------------------
1 Corinthians 2:6 6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. When we move on to maturity, our trust ceases to be hinged upon evidence but on our new identity; Christ Himself, the wisdom of God.

5 1 Corinthians 1:22-24 22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. (Proverbs 4:7)

6 ----------------------------------------
1 Corinthians 2:7-8 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. Crucifying Christ was the best mistake of the devil’s career! It accomplished the mystery: Christ» Man; Man» Christ!

7 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (…)
Ephesians 3:3-7 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (…) 5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets: 6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,

8 (Romans 11:24-26, Colossians 1:27-28)
Ephesians 1:9-10 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth — in Him. (Romans 11:24-26, Colossians 1:27-28)

9 "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
1 Corinthians 2:9-11 9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

10 ----------------------------------------
11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. The things God has prepared for us are revealed to us by His Spirit. This is the importance of getting intimate with the Holy Spirit – revelation knowledge of all that belongs to us.

11 John 16:13-15 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

12 ----------------------------------------
1 Corinthians 2 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. The purpose of the Holy Spirit in our lives is to show us all the great things God has given us freely!

13 Romans 8:32 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 2 Peter 1:3 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

14 1 Corinthians 2 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 The natural you, focused on the flesh can frustrate your new identity
The natural you, focused on the flesh can frustrate your new identity. That’s why it’s important to focus on the new identity to get new ID results. Focus on Christ in you, not you and your failures

16 Ephesians 4:23-24 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. Romans 8:7 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

17 ----------------------------------------
1 Corinthians 2 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ. We have the mind of Christ, we are partners with God. We just can’t throw up our hands to wait for His will. We are involved in His will.

18 1 John 2:20 20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. Colossians 3:10 10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,
