2 Department of Energy (DOE) Security Force Program Security forces protect DOE classified matter and nuclear material from theft, diversion, sabotage, espionage, unauthorized access and control, and other acts that impact on national security. Duties include posts at critical facilities, patrol, and Special Response Teams Law Enforcement – 45 officers commissioned by Governor to enforce state traffic laws. Also have role in site response plans.
