7Regulation DD - DetailRegulation DD requires that if the Available Balance is presented to the consumer, a notation that those funds may include additional funds for paying overdrafts is to be displayed. For full details regarding Regulation DD, review the information provided by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Regulation DD only applies to banks.FeaturesTo assist banks in complying with Regulation DD, both account balance and available balance are accessible for view anywhere balances are displayed (e.g. Account Transfer, Schedules Transfer and the U.S. Savings Bond menus). Note: The labels (account and available balance) may differ on the bank’s website.A double asterisk (**) is displayed next to the Available Balance label within Internet Banking to notate that additional funds are added (e.g. ODP, LOC). In addition, a corresponding footnote displays on the same page as the double asterisk. The default footnote reads: “This balance may include overdraft or line of credit funds.” Text is customizable by the bank, and the footnote can be turned off if desired.The DPV for each bank will handle Account Balance and Available Balance differently.TIP: Check with your DPV to confirm when and where additional funds are added to balances.This regulation only applies to banks, not credit unions. Hence the use of “banks”. CUs would want to turn the footnote off. Be sure to stress that this feature in IB “assists” the bank in complying. 13Account Access - Transfer A consumer can make one-time transfers two ways:1. Use Quick Transfer from the bottom of the Account Summary screen2nd way - the decimal point gets filled in when you tab to the next field.Confirmation screen: Real-time shows immediate update. Batch shows a confirmation number and information about when the transfer will take place.2. 14Account Access – Scheduled Transfer To create a scheduled transfer click Add.Note: This is an optional feature. Call your Client Relations Manager for more detail.
15Scheduled Transfer - Add Transfer Input Transfer Amount ($99, max or as allowed by the DPV).Select a FROM and TO account from the dropdown boxes. The lists include all accounts that allow transfers (per your DPV).Select Start Date and Frequency.Input the Number of Transfers (max of 9999 or processing date after 12/31/2031).
16Scheduled Transfer - Add Transfer NOTE: If you are on the real-time SRT Engine (see page 20), additional options will be presented:Additional frequency choicesCheckbox labeled “Please send me an after the last recurring transfer”. This is helpful to remind the consumer that their current scheduled transfer is about to expire. This is an optional feature. If you already have Internet Banking, your consumers that have any SRTs now will be able to edit their SRT to receive this notification when their SRT ends.
17Scheduled Transfer - Add Transfer Verify the information and click Confirm Transfer.The consumer receives a confirmation screen advising if the transfer was successful.
18Scheduled Transfer – Delete or Edit From the Scheduled Transfers Summary screen the consumer can either delete or edit existing transfers.To edit an existing transfer click Edit. Then modify the desired field(s) and click the Save Transfer button.Note: The Start Date field is now “Next Date” when editing.To delete an existing transfer, click Delete. A confirmation screen appears. Select the Delete button to confirm.
19Account Access - Export A consumer can export transactions two ways:1. Use Export from the bottom of the Account Summary screen2. Click on the Export sub-navigation button to reach the separate export screen. All transactions in the history range will be downloaded, even if they don’t appear on the screen.There is now also an Update PFM button on the 2nd way – it keeps up with downloads automatically, so don’t need to keep up with the date.Note: Bisys Total Plus clients will see the following message once the export begins: “Transactions occurring today may not appear in your download export file.”AXIS Internet Banking
20Notifications Overview Intuit Financial Services offers two notifications processing types (also called “SRT Engines”): Real-time and Batch. These are NOT related to your Internet Banking processing types, but are rather completely separate. If you are not sure what type you are, please ask your Project Manager or call Customer Service if you are already live.Some of the features listed here are only available to those financial institutions on the real-time SRT Engine. These features are noted.You can instruct the system to check either Available Balance or Ledger Balance for the Greater Than Balance Notifications, the Less Than Balance Notifications and the Periodic Balance Notifications. This configuration can be implemented at the Deposit, Investment and Loan account-type level. (real-time FIs only)You will select many of these features via the implementations form or the release preference form. Each feature that is not automatic is noted.This section also covers notification management and reporting in Management Console.This is an optional feature. Call your Client Relations Manager for more detail.There is a plan to migrate all FIs to the real-time engine. Start approx. May. 21Account Access – Notifications Click on the Notifications sub-navigation button to reach the Notification Summary screen.Note that if your financial institution will offer mobile banking alerts, setup is from this screen, and the screen name includes “ Alerts”. Some screens also include banner ads and FAQs about mobile banking alerts.The financial institution can also enable a pop-up to prompt consumers upon login as well.
22Notifications – Summary Screen The Summary screen contains the Setup Table and the History Table.The Setup Table shows all existing notifications. Edit or delete notifications in this section.The History Table shows notifications that have been sent in the last 30 days (not shown - Real-Time financial institutions only).Add a notification using the Add New dropdown list (see next page for possible types) or click the Express Setup link.Text is configurableAXIS Internet Banking
23Notification Types Notifications for All processing SRT Engine types: Balance – Sent if an account balance is greater than or less than the trigger amount set up.Check Cleared – Sent when the specified check has cleared. (this is host dependent)Maturity Date – Sent a pre-determined number of days prior to the maturity date. (this is host dependent)Notifications for Real-Time SRT Engines only (all of these are optional):Payment Due – Sent a pre-determined number of days prior to the due date of a loan account. (this is host dependent)Payment Past Due – Sent when and if the selected account is now flagged as past due. (this is host dependent)Personal Reminder – Sent on a pre-selected date and a recurring basis. Not associated with any account type. Use primarily for personal reminders such as birthdays or anniversaries.Periodic Balance – Sent to notify consumer of their account balance. Can be recurring, and the frequency can be set.SRT Concluded – Sent when the last transfer of a series of Scheduled and Recurring Transfers has completed. Warns that the scheduled and recurring transfer has concluded.
24Notifications - Add Choose the type of notification and click Add. For all notifications except Check Cleared and Personal Reminder, select multiple accounts in the dropdown by holding down the Ctrl key, if desired.Balance Notification Example:Select an account listed in the drop-down box.Choose the comparison (Greater Than or Less Than).Input an amount in the Balance Field.Enter address.Type in custom messageClick Save Notification.
