1. How It Happened! Was the Boston Massacre really a Massacre even though the British killed five innocent colonist? Were the colonist really innocent? This is only One cause of many causes of the American Revolution.

2. The Proclamation of The Proclamation of 1763 was when King George II drew a line on the map and said the colonist couldn't cross it. He did this to stop the colonist and the Indians from fighting. This upset the colonists because they felt the king could not tell them where to live.

3. The Stamp Act The colonist had to buy stamps for all papers in the colony. This upset the colonist because they felt it was unfair to tax them when they did not get to vote.

4. The Townshend Acts The Townshend Acts was a tax on things that the colonist were supposed to buy from the British. The colonist boycotted the British made goods because they felt this was unfair that they did not get to vote for this tax.

5. The Boston Massacre The Boston Massacre started with some colonists throwing icy snowballs at British solders that were stationed in Boston. The British solders got mad and shot and killed 5 colonist. The colonists didn’t think that the Redcoats should have been there in the first place.

6. Tea Act This was a unfair tax on tea that the colonist had to pay even thou it was only one cent. The colonist were mad because they did not get to vote on this tax, so they decided to stop buying tea until they took the tax off it.

7. Boston Tea Party The Boston tea party was a tea tax that the colonist didn’t like. So the colonist dressed up as the Indians so they were not recognized. Then boarded the ships and tossed all of the tea into the Boston harbor.

8. Intolerable Acts The intolerable acts were the laws that tried to punish the colonist because they dumped the tea into the Boston harbor. Then they refused to pay for its taxes.

9. All of these 7 causes led to the Revolutionary war. Now that you have read my presentation you now know that the colonist were not innocent that threw the snow balls at the British soldiers' that shot at them. the colonist did have weapons so that proves the colonists were not innocent.
