3 Objectives of the workshop To provide an update of on-going and a discussion on planned work by EEA, European Commission, other organisations and member countries in the field of ‘Climate Change Impacts, Vulnerability and Adaptation’

7 MAWP 2014-2018 Updated information and improvement of Climate-ADAPT (ongoing) Assessment report on climate change impacts (indicators) in 2016 (and annually selected indicators on the web) Assessment report on ‘Analysis of national and sub-national adaptation policies’ based on 2013 self-assessment (in 2014); follow-up of 2013 report on adaptation in Europe based on needs Other assessments: Contribute to SOER2015 Urban adaptation (follow-up of 2012 report, regular conference with ICLEI) Impacts of natural hazards (follow-up of 2011 report) Transport systems and adaptation (new) Networking with and support to member countries, including annual EIONET workshop (also EPA interest group) Participate in and contribute to EU activities within UN meetings and networks on climate change and disaster risk reduction (UNFCCC, IPCC, ISDR Europe, WHO Europe) ETC CCA selection
