2 WWF WWF's mission is to stop the degradation of our planet's natural environment, and build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. WWF is a global organisation that deals with endangered species, deforestation, renewable energy and global warming.

3 WWF They tackle the causes. They focus our efforts. They capitalize on our expertise They build strong partnerships. Two of their goals are to save biodiversity and reduce humanity's ecological footprint.

4 Earth hour’s part The effects 7 Billion people are on this earth and 8:30 this Saturday on this year: 2013 thousands and millions off people will all switch off their lights, we will be part of that. We want the focus to be on the kind of energy we use. Because to create a better future for our planet we need to move away from dirty fossil fuels and onto clean green renewable energy which works with the awesome power of nature, not against it. The event WWF’s Earth Hour is a unique annual phenomenon that focuses the world’s attention on our amazing planet, and how we need to protect it. At 8.30pm on 23 March hundreds of millions of people will turn off their lights for one hour, on the same night, all across the world in a huge, symbolic show of support.
