4 Who was John Calvin? He was a Frenchman He was trained as a priest and a lawyer Calvin fled France when his brother was executed

5 Like Luther, Calvin wrote a great deal His Institutes of the Christian Religion addressed the entire world

6 Calvinism was not tied to the state as Lutheranism was

7 What were the tenants of Calvinism? Calvin believed the Lords supper Sacrament was symbolic Catholics believed that the wine and water changed into the blood and body of Christ
