3 Changing Number Style 1.Click on format menu 2.Click on bullets and numbering menu item 3.Select numbered tab sheet 4.Select number style 5.Click on customize button 6.Select number style, number format and start at value 7.Select number position and align at value 8.Select text position values 9.Click on ok button

4 Applying Outline Numbers 1.Click on format menu 2.Click on bullets and numbering menu item 3.Select outline numbered tab sheet 4.Select outline number style 5.Click on ok button 6.Also you can select the text and can apply outline numbers 7.To remove numbers select none 8.Press tab key for level down 9.Press shift+tab for level up

5 Changing Outline Number Style 1.Click on format menu 2.Click on bullets and numbering menu item 3.Select outline numbered tab sheet 4.Select outline number style 5.Click on customize button 6.Select level to change 7.Select number style, number format and start at value 8.Select number position and align at value 9.Select text position values 10.Click on ok button

6 Applying Text Border 1.Select word or text 2.Click on format menu 3.Click on borders and shading menu item 4.Select borders tab sheet (default) 5.Select border setting, style, color, width 6.Select text into apply to 7.Click on ok button 8.You can also use border buttons in formatting tool bar

7 Applying Paragraph Border 1.Select paragraph 2.Click on format menu 3.Click on borders and shading menu item 4.Select borders tab sheet (default) 5.Select border setting, style, color, width 6.Select preview buttons for change top, right, bottom, left borders 7.Select paragraph into apply to (default) 8.Click on ok button 9.You can use options button to select space between in paragraph and border (top, right, bottom, left) 10.You can also use border buttons in formatting tool bar

8 Applying Page Border 1.Select paragraph 2.Click on format menu 3.Click on borders and shading menu item 4.Select page border tab sheet 5.Select border setting, style, color, width and art 6.Select preview buttons for change top, right, bottom, left borders 7.Select option to apply to (whole document, this section, this section first page only, this section all except first page 8.Click on ok button 9.You can use options button to select space between in paragraph and border (top, right, bottom, left)

9 Applying Shading 1.Select paragraph 2.Click on format menu 3.Click on borders and shading menu item 4.Select shading tab sheet 5.Select fill color 6.Select pattern and color 7.Select text or paragraph to apply to 8.Click on ok 9.You can also use highlight button in formatting tool bar

10 Changing Ruler Measurements 1.Click on tools menu 2.Click on options menu item 3.Select general tab sheet 4.Select option for measurement unit

11 Drop Cap 1.Select paragraph 2.Click on format menu 3.Click on drop cap menu item 4.Select dropped or in margin 5.Select font 6.Select lines to drop 7.Select distance from text 8.Click on ok

12 Format Painter Tool 1.Select formatted text 2.Click on format painter tool in formatting tool bar 3.Select the text to format
