Christmas celebrations start on the 6th of December in France. La fete de Saint Nicolas
Some French people attend midnight mass on Christmas Eve. However- often this is at about 8pm! This is called Le Réveillon (the awakening)
French children dont have a Christmas stocking…… They leave their shoes by the fireplace….. Le Père Noël leaves small presents in their shoes!
