2 Réguliers? What is that?A verb is regular when it follows the same pattern as other verbs in the same group.It means that all verbs in that group (here the -er group) are conjugating the SAME WAY!
3 Pattern? What pattern?In order to conjugate an -er verb (any regular -er verb), you follow two steps:Get the stemAdd the ending
4 STEM/ROOT OF THE VERB To get the stem or root of the verb, you remove the -ER at the endCHANTER -> CHANT = STEM(to sing)ÉTUDIER -> ÉTUDI = STEM(to study)
