What is the Enterprise Duomo Gas Safety system? Device installed in kitchens to enhance the safety of inhabitants with regard to gas and carbon monoxide. Remote monitoring for Gas and CO A way to the reduce the costs of call outs.
What does the system do? Continuously checks for: Carbon monoxide Natural gas leakage Actions Automatically turns off the gas supply in alarm Advises the Telecare system Safely starts up after shutdown
The system comprises of Uno – The brain of the system. Provides power to the Duo Controls the gas supply Communicates with the Telecare unit Duo – The detector. Senses Gas and Carbon Monoxide Allows SAFE manual reset after alarm Gas Valve assembly- Weep proving system Checks that all gas taps are turned off Safely restarts the gas supply after alarm.
What happens when Gas is detected? Gas taps left on with no flame lit Gas detected Audible alarm sounds Gas valve shuts off Telecare notified Gas levels drop Cooker Gas tap turned off System Self tests Gas supply on.
What happens when CO is detected? Carbon Monoxide detected Audible alarm sounds Gas valve shuts off Telecare notified CO levels drop Cause investigated System Manually reset Gas supply on
Technical Overview System complies with EN50291 European standard for Carbon monoxide detectors in domestic premises EN50194 European standard for Natural Gas detectors in domestic premises Mains power supply 230V Duo supplied with 12V from the UNO Gas valve available 15 or 22mm pipe size Compatible with all Telecare monitoring systems
