11. Do you have to negotiate the whole contract? No, the decision to negotiate any part of the contract is open to the parties involved. What would be the benefit of negotiating new language? Issues and grievances that have come up during the life of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) could be addressed in new/revised language. Can the Association accept a new contract without the membership voting? No, a new contract must be ratified through an all member vote.
