(CM) shall be revised so that members will NOT contribute to health insurance premiums in SEHBP unless the Board reverts to a private plan containing a “traditional” coverage component the same as in existence on June 30, In that event, the contribution will remain at $ annually.
7 Language Changes Continued New Language AddedVoluntary Opt-out PaymentEffective July 1, 2009, the parties shall implement a payment for 40% of the Board’s annual cost to those employees who waive coverage.The payment shall be made annually on the June 30th following the last open enrollment period.Reenrollment is permissible during open enrollment and if alternate health insurance is lost- Proof is necessary, needs to be within 60 days of event, and proration of payment will apply.

10 Language Changes Continued BOE shall adopt an IRC section 125 plan for the purpose of implementing the opt-out payment so that members receiving employer paid benefits shall have NO tax consequences.
