2. You may wear shirts with a collar, sweaters, and knit tops (which may have small logos and/or designs) that fully cover both shoulders. Non-athletic zip or button hoodies are also acceptable. (Just make sure you dont wear the hood up in school!)

3. You may NOT wear tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, or shirts and dresses that expose bra straps or are made of sheer fabric.

4. To promote school spirit, you may wear HB t-shirts and sweatshirts.

5. Other kinds of t-shirts and sweatshirts are NOT acceptable.

6. You may wear cotton pants, dress pants, capris, and colored jeans.

7. You may NOT wear athletic wear or sleepwear. This includes: running tights, sweatpants, yoga pants, pajama pants, and athletic shorts.

8. You may wear skirts, dresses, and shorts long enough to maintain modesty (fingertip length or longer).

9. You may wear leggings, but only with a skirt or dress long enough to maintain modesty (fingertip length or longer).

10. You may NOT wear skirts, dresses or shorts that are excessively short and revealing. You may NOT wear leggings with shirts or sweatshirts.

11. You may NOT wear blue jeans or faded, ripped or frayed colored jeans.

12. You may NOT wear revealing or sexually suggestive clothes, nor may you wear clothes with written or unwritten messages that demean or disrespect others, or that contain references to illegal or unethical activity.

13. For Athletes: on game days, you may wear your jersey TOP to school. What you wear on the BOTTOM must comply with the dress code.

14. We are a community that respects learning and people. We want the appearance of our student body to reflect these values. We also want girls to feel comfortable here. Having dress code guidelines instead of an official uniform gives you considerable freedom to express yourself and show your personal style, while also learning about appropriate clothing choices for different occasions.
