2 Service package Green station The aim was to provide knowledge about nurturance of the garden, creating its areas, planning space and planting, specifics of its maintenance. The expected result was that the training participants, who didnt learn for personal reasons, get the motivation to learn environmental and garden design, to develop and express creative ideas, continue to seek for the knowledge in areas which would like to improve. We have planned to engage them in activities associated with simple knowledge and easy to apply in practice, as training topic was generally useful and adaptable, didnt require systematical studying, long term obligations and promoted motivation, willingness to learn. 3 Service package Duration of trainings was planned for 6 academic hours. Knowledge acquired during this training was practically applied by participants in designing their environment. It was initial training, basics of forming nature environment. Form. Service was provided in a training form. Theoretical knowledge was followed by practical examples, demonstrations, in combination with group and/or individual consultations. Expected target group of trainings were persons who have not been involved or very little involved in learning activities but willing to learn more about garden and close environment designing. 4 1 st training Date: 24 th of May 2011 Place: Training was organized in Trakai Centre of Education. Participants: 21 people. Different age and occupation. 5 Advertising strategy Three different advertisement forms have been chosen to promote training: personal conversations, personal phone calls and colorful poster at the entrance of Trakai adult education center. Trakai adult education centre is well known among inhabitants and director of the center, our local partner, have helped us to reach people, to invite them into the training. Training was advertised in accordance with the format which has been identified as the most efficient and drawing attention. 6 2 nd training Date: 22 nd of May 2012 Place: Training was organized in St. Cross House in Vilnius. Participants: 8 people. Mainly seniors. Our social partner St. Cross House specialists helped us to reach the group. It wasnt easy because of target groups specifics.
