Our Mission To provide a collegial forum for interaction and information exchange to enable its members to serve their clients more effectively; to produce the highest quality, nonpartisan, educational programs, products, and services concerning health law issues; and to serve as a public resource on selected health care legal issues.

About AHLA Our History Created by a merger of the National Health Lawyers Association and the American Academy of Healthcare Attorneys on July 1, 1997, the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) is the largest nonpartisan 501(c)(3) educational organization devoted to legal issues in the health care field, with a history of more than 50 years of providing resources to practicing health law attorneys, and compliance, regulatory, and health care professionals.

About AHLA Dispute Resolution Service
The Dispute Resolution Service maintains a nationwide roster of arbitrators, mediators, and peer review hearing officers with decades of expertise in health law and health care. By promoting the fast, fair, and final resolution of commercial, employment, and consumer claims, the Dispute Resolution Service helps the health care system maintain its focus on promoting wellness and patient care.
