The Message The Adventist Message to be shared CLEARLY and BOLDLY with all the world: 1. WHOLESOME LIVING NOW: Mark 12:30-31 – Love for God, others, and oneself – relationships centered. E.G. White – It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers. - Education, Chapter 1, lines 2-3. 2. THE HOPE OF LIFE TO COME: Titus 2:13 – Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of ……our Savior Jesus Christ. Ref: ….the Church's spiritual mission of serving the whole person and taking the gospel to the world. – Church Manual, Ch. 3, P. 12 (Min. Ver.,10)

Challenges Outreach has three challenges: 1.MAKING THE CONTACT: The spirit is willing but the body is too shy to initiate contact with strangers. 2.MESSAGE INTRODUCTION: How and what to share briefly to awaken further interest. 3.FOLLOW-UP/AFTER CARE: Once contact is made, how and what to follow up with?

The Obligation Basis THE ADVENTIST OBLIGATION: >>What is our obligation to be fulfilled today? The Church believes its responsibility to make Christ known to the world includes a moral obligation to preserve human dignity by promoting optimal levels of physical, mental, and spiritual health. – Church Manual, Chapter 8, P. 66, lines 24-26. (Min. Ver., 2010) The Saviors commission to the church to carry the gospel to all the world (Matt. 28:19, 6 20; Mark 16:15) meant not only preaching the gospel but ensuring the welfare of those who accepted that message. This involved shepherding as well as housing the flock and also meeting relationship problems. - Church Manual, Chapter 3, P. 10, lines 6-9 (Min. Ver., 2010)

Open Doors To Hope! HopeSide.Com Create a portal that can showcase all the Adventist teachings in a simplified, relevant, and engaging media content updated regularly: HopeSide.Com can be that portal for anyone to join and know more. >>Wholesome Living can be promoted on this site in three ways: A. Mind – Developing healthy relationships with others. B. Body – Developing a healthy relationship with oneself. C. Spirit – Developing a right relationship with God. & Preparing for life to come through wholesome living now!

Open Doors To Hope! HopeSide.Com Additional Features: (The content here is for a non-Christian audience but anyone can join.) This site can be enriching, educational, and interactive with social features to interconnect members. Other modules can be added as needed. Registered users can be auto-matched to fellowship groups, possible local churches to join, conferences, unions, divisions, and all the way to the G.C. as per choices made online.

Open Doors To Hope! AdventistLiving.Com An alternative site can be created for Adventist members. Here all Adventist teachings can be presented in three ways for Adventist members to understand and apply with rich content updated regularly. This site can be enriching, educational, and interactive with social features to connect members. Other modules can be added as needed. Registered users can be auto-matched to interest groups, their local churches, conferences, unions, divisions, and all the way to the G.C.

The Media Mandate THE ADVENTIST MEDIA MANDATE: >>>Recap - We must take every justifiable means of bringing the light before the people. Let the press be utilized, and let every advertising agency be employed that will call attention to the work.6T 36. Means will be devised to reach hearts. Some of the methods used in this work will be different from the methods used in the work in the past.Ev 105. - Church Manual, Chapter 8, Page 62, lines 4-9 (Min. Ver., 2010)

The HopeSide Portal Benefits FEEDING THE FLOCK ONLINE: The overall benefits of an all-in-one outreach portal: As the Adventist church grows, so are the needs to constantly update, educate, and communicate with all the members in a timely manner so that all are on the same page. Leadership and laity can interact in one place as needed! New and current member growth and enrichment can take place here. Church life integration into the portal: As churches attempt to use online tools to reach out, many are unable to have their own websites or effectively use their own sites for lack of skill, talent and time. This handicaps the local church in many ways. An easy to use all-in-one portal can alleviate many current drawbacks to doing out/inreach on/offline.

Hope Steps - Scenario (Typical encounter by media or other ways.) (Potential members can join the all-in-one Interactive, social, educational, empowering, and local church/group matching website.) (Educated members can then join or form a local church for hope living to do outreach again.)

HopeSide Outreach Models H PESIDE.COM WELCOMES YOU Contact: Andy ….The challenge of reaching the more than 6 billion people on planet Earth with His end-time message seems impossible…. T o that end, council members voted to endorse…initiatives to encourage prayer, Bible study and the use of technology to link a global community of Seventh-day Adventist church members whose leaders are seeking revival. - Voted 10/11/2010, Gods Promised Gift – Annual Council Action (G.C.) Group Outreach: If the HopeSide.Com portal is implemented as outlined, it will make it easier to organize and mobilize members to engage in concerted outreach efforts and regular year-long short rallies in major places worldwide to bring attention to the Adventist Message. Personal Outreach: Business/Post cards/Stickers to be shared can be printed with the HopeSide message with an invitation to join the site to know more along with personal contact info for following up.

HopeSide Implementation Technology solutions exist that can be easily implemented and customized to the unique needs of a single-portal approach online. It maybe expensive in the beginning but it will pay for itself in the long run. While existing social media outlets and other sites are currently used, this is a fragmented approach with its limitations. It is far more beneficial to invest in a scalable all-in-one custom solution. Thus, HopeSide.Com can be the front & back-end support for outreach worldwide to sync and speed up efforts. Hopeside.com and AdventistLiving.com can be merged into just HOPESIDE.COM to save time and costs.

HopeSide Steering Board The steering board can consist of visionary gospel outreach personnel, Adventist businesses (e.g. ASI), and technology talent. The HopeSide portal objectives can be outlined and the various modules implemented on a gradual basis starting with a beta version. All the churches and its members can be invited to participate and help with improving and growing the site for effective out/in reach, on/offline on an ongoing basis. A financially self-supporting model can be implemented as well.

HopeSide Strategy Currently, an outreach group has formed to implement the HopeSide goals stated here in bold and creative ways. This group meets every Saturday evening in Silver Spring, Maryland, for an hour to equip and strategize for outreach in the future. >>>>The meetings/programming structure: 1. Every first week – Study on relationship building – loving others. 2. Every second week – Study on healthy living – loving oneself. 3. Every third week – Study on building spirituality – loving God. 4. Every fourth week – Discuss church & outreach matters. Do local outreach. Future churches when formed will follow a similar programming style to minister to the whole person - the HopeSide model Implementing HopeSide.Com now can greatly aid our efforts.
