1 Global Power Energy ………………………… 20 January, 2014

2 About Us Global Power Energy Inc. is a power solutions, technology, and distribution company that develops, integrates, and brings to market cutting edge technologies in the energy arena. Our current products include: Power conditioners LED Lighting Wind Turbines 2 Company Proprietary

3 Problem Statement Electricity demand is increasing while production capacity remains the same or is being reduced. Global warming is adding to the demand for power. Federal regulations impose restrictions on the use of coal to generate power. The electrical infrastructure is aging with no plans for immediate replacement or expansion to meet the growing demand. Grid inefficiencies continue to grow with over one trillion kilowatt-hours being lost every year (67.8%) of generated electricity.* *Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Company Proprietary

4 Why is Power Lost? Lack of Government Regulations Excessive Heat &
Vibration Company Proprietary

Powerhouse 480 Industrial Dimensions L 20" x W 8" x H 30“ Weight 100 lbs Maximum amp load 850 Three phase Protects against power surges All components UL listed Weather-proof NEMA enclosure 5 year warranty on parts** *The Powerhouse boxes shown here are standard units, which are ideal for a number of commonly found residential, commercial, and industrial applications. However, since power demands vary greatly from one location and application to another, it is important that each site be carefully evaluated, properly sized, and unit(s) strategically placed.   ** A licensed electrician must professionally install all Powerhouse units and sign the warranty card. 9 How Does it Work? All electrical energy coming into a facility is known as Apparent Power, and the power we actually use is defined as Real Power.  Even though you pay for it, a portion of the power entering your electrical system is lost to ground and never consumed. This is referred to as Reactive Power. The ultimate goal is to bring these two factors, Apparent Power and Real Power, closer together. The Black Hawk Powerhouse is able to accomplish this by capturing this lost voltage, store it and feed it back into your electrical system. In order to accomplish this, The Powerhouse adds capacitance (stored charge) via a series of capacitors and other electronic components.  This enables the unit to capture the Reactive Power, store it, and put it back into the system, evenly across all phases, as it is needed. Company Proprietary

10 How Does it Work? (continued)
By doing this, The Powerhouse: Reduces low voltage (issues Stabilizes and equalizes voltage across the phases of the complete system Reduces voltage drops and spikes when demand increases Reduces tripped breakers (as a result of low voltage or power spikes) Lowers kilowatt hours Company Proprietary

11 How Does It Work (continued)
By capturing and balancing the energy, The Powerhouse ensures that three phase equipment is running at its optimal performance with balanced voltages and less harmonics, which results in less mechanical problems and lower maintenance costs, thus, increasing the life of your equipment. To summarize, The Black Hawk Powerhouse: Balances voltage across all phases (legs) Balances the load and line harmonics between phases Reduces Reactive Power loss Reduces spikes in your energy demand, lowering your peak demand charges Reduces device vibration, noise and HEAT (motors are more efficient & run cooler) Provides surge protection (absorbing power spikes up to 50,000 volts) Increases lumens (amount of brightness) in your existing florescent and incandesant lighting system Lowers lighting maintenance costs by extending the life of luminaires and ballasts Reduces heat rise on transformers Requires no special cooling or air conditioned environment Helps protect computers, operating systems, timers, relays, burglar alarms, surveillance cameras, and other low voltage equipment that is sensitive to power spikes or low voltage Company Proprietary

12 Automated Efficiency $800/Month Electric Bill 15% 30+%
Do you currently have any problems with your electrical power? If we could make all of you wishes come true related to your electrical environment, what would you wish for. If they say, nothing or I really don’t have many problems, say, Could I ask you a few questions? Do you every have any problems with lightning, power surges, power sag or other significant power related events that cause down time or equipment damage? Do you have all the data you would like? Do you ever pay any penalties for phase balancing, reactive power or other? If you could lower your bill would that be helpful, do you have any concerns about health implications related to dirty power? Is conservation important to your company? Company Proprietary

18 Black Hawk Power Conditioner Certification Testing (continued)
Black Hawk Power Conditioners have been extensively tested and are UL listed. All units have a five-year warranty on parts. Black Hawk Power Conditioners have been installed in over 500 enterprises and operating flawlessly for over seven years. Efficiencies of 16%-25+ % have been achieved and demonstrated. Black Hawk Power Conditioners have been independently certified by Gray Energy Economics Inc. in the City of Edmonton test on August 27, 2013. Company Proprietary

19 Black Hawk Power Conditioner Scalability
The current single Power Conditioner unit can handle up to 100 KVAR. More than one unit can be paralleled to handle larger reactive loads. Company Proprietary

20 What are the Benefits? Performance Expectations Lower power bills
Increase equipment life Reduce peak demand and utility penalties Lower maintenance expense Capture and use lost voltage Provide surge protection Company Proprietary

22 Cost and Schedule for Implementation
The unit cost for residential units (Res 3, Res 5, Res 7.5, Res 10) will range from $2,400-$3,000, based on Power Factor Measurements and sizing of the units for the specific site. Commercial units (280V and 480V single and 3-phase units) are priced from $9,000 - $19,000 depending on actual measurements and sizing of the units to meet specific site demands. The return on investment in all cases is less than two years and in some cases less than six months. In addition to the purchase of these units, Global Power Energy Inc. is offering leasing options for three-four or five year leases with a $1.00 for purchase of the unit at the end of the lease. Company Proprietary

23 Conclusions Black Hawk Power Conditioners provide a substantial saving for any enterprise. Conditioners have been tested and certified for use (UL listed) by independent electrical validating agencies. The technology is scalable to accommodate large reactive loads. Company Proprietary
