The cost of ice cream is $ Ice cream can be paid for the entire year for a cost of $36. There will be no refunds for students who may be absent on ice cream day. We will have ice cream on Thursdays.

We check sight words on Friday. Students should know 70 out of 100 sight words by the end of the year.
I really enjoyed getting to meet everyone at open house. We are going to have a great year. Please review the information in your child’s take home folder and send it back each day. Please feel free to ask any questions!

Remember to send your child’s folder each day. Use the clear money envelope for ANY money.
In Class, we are learning about…
Language Arts- identifying parts of a sentence
Math- 2D shapes (circle, square, triangle, rectangle, hexagon)
Reading- identifying the parts of a book (front cover, back cover, spine, & title page)
Please send lunch money and all other monies in your child’s money pouch inside the notebook and designate what the money is for.
Ice Cream: Thursday $1.00
We will have snack each day. Please remember to send a small snack and juice each day. No carbonated drinks are allowed at school. Write your child’s name on the snack and keep it separate from his/her lunch box. If a spoon or fork is needed, send that also. We don’t provide spoons for pudding, applesauce, etc.
Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle during hot weather months. It must be filled with water only and have their name.
Your child’s student ID number is ___________. Please have them practice memorizing this number.
